We are two peas in a pod.......

When it comes to photography, I am in love! I love every part of it...I love seeing what I can capture, I love seeing the emotion in people that normally would be over looked, I love preserving the here and now for families....I just love it all! Never would I have imagine there was someone else on this green earth who loves taking pictures as much as I do...well there is and she just so happens to be my sister-in-law, Rachael.

When us, Engle Girls get together we are non stop photo taking!!! As my husband says~ you know it is bad when you take pictures of each other taking pictures!! The way I look at it is we spend our time behind the camera and never in the photos so lets turn the lens toward us for once.....here is what our photo shoots look like~

Children's Musuem of Atlanta & Sesame Street

Our trip turned out great! We really enjoyed our ride down to the musuem, we must have had 10 or more big rig trucks hong at us.....maybe it was the 4 year old boy in the back seat pumping his arm up and down at them?!?!? Once we arrived Tate ran around like crazy, not sure what he wanted to do first. We did alittle bit of everything until he spotted the train set and then we were there for atleast a hour! He enjoyed all of the hands on activities they had~his favorite was the trains and moon sand :) Little Lyla was an angel baby....she slept in the stroller almost the entire time. Our day was great~I wouldn't trade it for anything...here are just a few of the cute pics from our trip.

Tate really enjoyed calling Elmo on the phone....

Nana and Lyla sitting by Oscar's Can. He wasn't there at the moment...he'd gone fishing with Slimey.

My little stuntster!!!!

I've never met a 4 year old who loved his bike more than Tate. There is not a day that goes by that he doesn't hop on it....even if it is in a quick ride in the basement! He does all the stunts~ popping wheelies, riding ramps, standing on his seat, riding on one knee, NO HANDS, etc. He is such a joy to watch~ he truly loves his bike! Just wanted to share some cute lil pics of him having fun! Check out his air on the third pic~ he is AWESOME!

The hardest thing Tate has ever done!

My sweet lil boy is growin up~ I can't believe he is in Pre-K.

We went to open house on the 30th of August & he loved it! He was so excited to see our neighbor, Jillian. He spent his time at open house playing with her.....well come to find out she isn't in his class ~ so on the 1st day of school he was not so sure about staying...he didn't know anyone and was really scared. As I started to leave he cried for me not to go. His teachers are just wonderful! Ms. Christi held him until I left. As I sat in my car I cried and cried! I felt as if I had broken his trust. I am his Mother one of the two people he trusts more than anything, and I left him in a strange place with strangers....it was probably the hardest thing I've ever done. When I came back to get him, he had been crying and didn't play with any children on the playground....he said he would NEVER GO BACK!!!

Well after he cried all evening and all of the next morning, we went back to Pre-K. I told him I would pick him up early and did~ Ms. Christi said it was a better day today. She took pictures of him playing on the playground & doing his work in class. I'm so proud of him! He will adjust in no time and it will truly be good for him. He came home and taught me a song about Jesus and about a little monkey so I know he is having fun! Here are a few pics... some are from the first day and some from open house w/ Jillian.
